Engineering Excellence Begins Here. Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) Engineering Training offers industry-leading aviation maintenance programmes that ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and career advancement opportunities in a dynamic and global sector.

Our Heritage in Aviation Training

Established in 1972, MAB Engineering Training was initially called the Technical Training Department. It was assigned the primary role of ensuring that MAB Engineering Services (MABES) was given sufficient support in maintaining an adequate number of suitably qualified personnel for operating and maintaining Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) aircraft fleet in compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia and Aviation Authorities such as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The MAB Engineering Training provides engineering and maintenance training for Basic and Aircraft Type courses comprising of Viking DHC6 Series, ATR72-212A, B737-600/700/800/900 series and B737-6/7/8/9 Series, A320 families, A330, A350 and A380 aircraft. The MAB Engineering Training also offers training schemes to produce Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Workshop Approval Holders and Technicians. Courses and training programmes such as engine ground runs with simulator training are also offered to technical personnel. With the new accreditation by Department of Skills Development (DSD) Malaysia, additional Malaysia Skill Diploma Level 4 and Advance Diploma Level 5 programmes are offered as well.
